We're in town from Atlanta and we stumbled across this restaurant. It wasn't crowded so we got right in (party of 8, 5 kids) and our server was super awesome!! We don't recall her name but she took excellent care of us!! With the 5 kids, she was patient and asked each one what they'd like to drink and eat. My fiancé ordered the prime rib -- EXCELLENT!! My brother ordered the ribeye - I didn't try it but he basically licked his plate clean! I ordered the sirloin - Pittsburgh style!! It was the most perfectly medium rare steak I've EVER had... Every bite was tender, juicy and almost as good as sex! Almost. But seriously, I can't emphasize enough just how GREAT this steak was!! Next time we're in town, we'll be making a trip to Pasadena Steakhouse!!! Oh and the kids' meals are HUGE!! More than enough food!! Great food for the money!!

If you want to go back in time and visit an Old Florida restaurant this is the place. I was looking for a good steak and we decided to try Pasadena Steak House -- we were very glad we did. The food was fabulous -- probably one of the best steaks I've had in a long time. The staff was great. We enjoyed the casual nature of the restaurant and the prices. We'll be back!

About the best I have to say is that the staff is friendly and helpful. I ordered prime rib and found it mediocre. I was dining alone and ordered a glass of red wine. The first glass was off so they opened a new bottle. It was as warm as soup. The waitress brought me a chilled wine glass into which I decanted my wine to bring it DOWN to room temperature!

We celebrated here the night my fiance' proposed to me! We had a party of about 15 people between our families. That said we needed about 2 more servers. Our server was slower than molasses and rude too. The place was empty too so I couldn't understand why they weren't catering to us. We ordered many steaks, bottles of wine, and apps. Definitely worth better and friendlier service. That said my food was just OK for a steakhouse. My steak had flavor and was cooked the way I asked. The side veggie was just gross though. It was just steamed without any salt or flavor for that matter. We all enjoyed our salads though. They were good. My brothers steak was way undercooked and by the time it came back to the table we were all done eating. My uncle enjoyed his salmon. The dessert was good. All enjoyed the wine too. All in all it was a joyous night that couldn't be dampened by bad service and mediocre food. Not sure we will be back though considering the price.

Run from this place! Emergent shut down by health dept in sept 2014. Then refuses to post their health dept report. Don't take a chance on getting sick. Giving one star because can't give negative one.

This is probably the worst meal that I have ever had. EVER. We were leaving the beach and my Husband mentioned he wanted steak. We drove past this "Steak House" and figured that we would give it a try. The place looks older, but kind of nice at first glance until you take a closer look. Then you see the water damaged ceiling, the slashed seats, the scuff marks, you notice it is hot in the room, etc. Our waitress was one of three people standing around when we walked in. We later found out that she did pretty much everything except for cook. When a large party of 12 walked in, she had to wait on them in addition to us and the other couple that were there. From this point on our service took a major dive and it took forever for anything. She was also sneezing and wiping her nose. That is definitely not what I want from someone carrying out my plates of food. On to the absolute worst part: the food. We ordered a $8 crab stuffed mushroom appetizer because we were hungry. I didn't snap a picture of it, but it was the worst stuffed mushroom dish I have ever had. They tasted frozen and the "stuffing" was so dry that it was like a paste. Not to mention the fact that there was absolutely no crab in there. It was also floating in some sort of liquid that looked like water with a little butter. If I had to guess, it was from where they were microwaved. Gross. For my entree, I ordered blackened salmon. It was from the lunch special menu for $9.99. The salmon was a measly four ounces. It was probably the smallest salmon I have ever been served and also the hardest piece of salmon to choke down. It literally tasted like it had half a bottle of salt poured on top of it. I have high blood pressure and I told my Husband that I was afraid it was going to give me a freaking heart attack. It was served with "roasted potatoes" which were actually boiled potatoes with some seasoning and some disgusting canned vegetables. The potatoes were the only part that was really edible. My Husband's entree was a prime rib dinner that was around $15. When it arrived, my jaw dropped. It looked like it had been butchered by someone who was sabotaged on Cut Throat Kitchen. It was super thin, uneven, extremely fatty and SMALL. Definitely the worst cut of meat I have seen served at a restaurant. On top of that, it was overcooked. He had the same nasty canned vegetables and potatoes as I did. In the end, we left $50 poorer, hungry and desperately needing to cleanse our palates with something good...scratch that...anything that was not from this place. We will never ever return and I suggest you avoid this place like the plague that it is.

I truely enjoyed the place and im giving them a 3 star review for the delishus NY Strip steak I had the pleasure of gobblin down. Cheryl was a wonderful waitress and even took the time to ask me about myself. I have some very real suggestions that would really put this place over the top. Your vegetables that come with entrees need to stop. Its oviously canned and microwaved. Seriously blanching some fresh broccli would be the same price and provide a much better product. Also they need more steak options. They got a little off track on the menu. I believe if they stick to steak and only use fresh vegetables that they would be alot busier. I wouldnt order anything but steak here not that I have tried it but am weary due to the comments here on yelp.

Probably ok for the over 80 crowd, but terrible food, badly cooked steak, and dark atmosphere make for a bad experience. It's was like walking into a cross between an old steak and ale and a sizzler. Sad that there are so few decent steak houses in the area and this place takes up space.

Arrived for earlier bird special at 5:30pm on Sat. The meal included a lot off food. 1/2 price drinks don't hurt either. Service was prompt and waitress came back to check on us frequently. The only reason it didn't received a five is that my fork was bent and the place is dated and a bit worn.

Chewy, stringy, tasteless meat. And that was their prime selection. I went in on an off night, during a slow time. I sat at the bar and told the bartender, I'm in your hands. Have the grill maestro make whatever he thinks is the best steak on the house. Out came a train wreck of a ribeye. The bartender was kind - no complaints about the service.

This place is stuck in a time warp, but that's okay. I feel like I have stepped into the 70's or 80's every time I go here, but it is convenient, quiet and never a wait to be seated. The food quality very good and traditional. We have never been disappointed and it is a very reasonable place to eat. Just don't expect much from the atmosphere or any exotic offerings.

This is truly an old-fashion throwback steakhouse...and I absolutely loved it. Great steak and sides and Bonnie at the bar makes a fine Martini. If you're in a hurry or looking for a modern prime chain type of steakhouse then this is NOT for you. This is a relaxing neighborhood steakhouse frequented by locals. Rock solid!!

Excellent! My wife and I went here for early dinner today (Sunday, about 4:30 pm). They have a special menu for early dinner and the prices were less than normal dinner prices (after 6pm). We both had Prime Rib at $15.95 each. The bread was fresh and warm. The Caesar salad was fresh and crisp...very tasty, made in house, dressing. The Prime Rib was perfect medium rare as we ordered it. Juicy and succulent. High grade meat which was all edible (no need to carve off junk fat at the sides). The portion was large (guessing 10-12 oz.). Baked potato was hot and large...delicious.. Desert was sorbet and it was perfect too. This was our first time here. We will be going back much more. Out server (Paul) was awesome and everyone we talked to (door greeter, lady at bar, etc) were all friendly and great like our server. This place has it's act together! A true diamond in the rough and is now permanently marked on our, Eat out travel map:):):) Do yourself a favor and try this place out!

I wanted to love this place. It seemed cozy enough. Beer and well drinks were 2 for 1 which was a plus. Everyone else enjoyed their meal. Our son got the sirloin which he loved. We got the 16 oz prime rib. It was cut in a weird shape ( triangle) and had a lot of fat to cut off. I love fat on a prime rib, but this cut was more like a pot roast. It was hard to cut and not really med rare as we requested. Baked potato was good veggies were soggy and the bread was fresh and hot. Our waitress was very nice but over worked considering she took orders, bussed tables, and ran the bar all at once.

I've only been for the early bird special, but it's never a let down. The full priced menu looks a little pricey, but I am sure it's worth it. I had bad service once, but went back two other times and had awesome service. Parking can be a little tight. Happy hour and 2-4-1 are during the early bird which is always a win. I've never had to wait for a seat, and it never seems too crowded. The atmosphere is very formal/reserved.

Very poor customer service, we ordered a filet rare, it came medium rare (see picture) The waiter took it & seconds later the owner brought it back saying it was perfectly rare, he refused to cook a new steak, and we still paid full price for it.. Eat here only if you are willing to have it THEIR way. We will not return, do not recommend it

We were visiting the local winery and needed something to eat before the wine tasting. We were told about this restaurant and I am so glad we took the recommendation. We were there for lunch and the place was pretty empty but we got some excellent service and food too! I had the cheese steak sandwich on a homemade hoagie roll and my friend had the Greek salad. The steak sandwich was perfection, the beef was chopped thick and "melt in your mouth" tender. It was so big that I was able to take half home and it was even better that night. The Greek salad with potato salad (of course) was the size of a small bus and looked like a piece of art. Our bill was $19 and change and worth every cent. Our server and hostess were extremely friendly and nice, the decor comforting and atmosphere intimate. I will definitely be back!

Came here for dinner while on vacation in the area. When you walk in its like entering a time capsule. The decor is outdated to say the least, not holding that against them just letting people know what to expect. I got a mixed drink and a glass of wine. The wine selection is very small compared to other steak restaurants in the area. The salad I got was drowning in dressing and just your typical garden salad. The bread was like chewy cardboard, really gross. The only good part was my filet. It was cooked like I ordered and flame cooked, no seasonings just plain. I ordered a side of 'oven roasted potatoes' they were boiled, soggy and tasted awful. If you want good steak you will get that here but everything else is bland and not cooked well.

Great food but some of the clientele seem to think that they are still on the beach...! Great food, greta service...!

We like this place. If you're looking for beef - steak, prime rib - highly recommend it. Been here twice, both times were good. First time we ate at the bar so we could watch a football game. Meal includes soup or salad, potato etc, no a la carte here which I also like. Good bread. They do an early bird special which can save you quite a bit of money, believe it ends at 6, and also believe their happy hour goes 11 to 7 (maybe 6) - now that's happy. If you object to dining with the older set, you may not like this place, but good food, nice atmosphere, good prices are to be found here.

I've been taking my family to this resteraunt for years, anything from Mother's Day to birthdays. I love the atmosphere, it's very quaint and reserved, attentive staff and great food. Impressed with their steaks, the only time I wasn't crazy about mine was when I ordered medium when I really prefer it on the rare side. A plus, never really that crowded and never a wait. A little pricey, but hey, you get what you pay for. Highly recommended.

I love coming here with my family for their early bird menu. The prime rib is always wonderful. I think you only need a reservation on holidays. The two for one margaritas arent the biggest but they're good. Best suggestion: sit in Jeff's section! He is the best waiter I've ever had!

Worst dining experience I've ever had!! Can I give negative stars? My family has been going to the Pasadena Steak House for many years and we will never go back after this evening's experience. Poor dining experience and the food was not good but we tried to make allowances for it being a holiday. We don't typically eat out on holidays but decided to this year. After finally getting a server to come to the table we waited 45 min to get drinks from the bar. The excuses were passed from server to bartender. That was the first time the hostess/owner's wife came to the table, also with multiple excuses but no resolution. Our food finally came about an hour after that and was not good. We asked to speak to someone and the same person came back to the table blaming our server and spouting all kinds of excuses. (We barely touched dinner and my mother sent hers back.) She rudely asked us what we wanted her to do about it. The bill came and we went to speak to the owner. No one could tell us who was in charge yet the host said all of the managers were on duty. The owner was SO RUDE I've never been treated so poorly. He yelled at us that he didn't have all night for this and to just pay the bill and get out! As local small business owners we would NEVER treat a customer that way.
